While shing in Palm Coast, you can see some of the most beautiful wetlands and marshes that Florida has to o er. Just like when shing in St. Augustine or further north, the Palm Coast area has countless species of sh. e red sh is the main attraction, with trout, ounder, snook, and even an occasional tarpon accounting for some exciting shing pictures as well.
One unique aspect of shing in Palm Coast is that even when mother nature has a sti wind blowing, there are many spots that are protected from the wind which makes it nicer for shing on those days. In addition, there are quite a few state parks and protected lands surrounding the waterways in
Palm Coast. is makes it an ideal place to see all kinds of wildlife, including porpoise, manatees, sea turtles, deer, wild boar, and all kinds of water fowl.
To discover the best shing spots in Palm Coast, there are plenty of
charters for hire. One of the most popular o shore charter captains is Capt. Brian Middleton. He’s widely recognized as Northeast Florida’s best
charter boat captain and is a ectionately known as “the Legend.” Capt. Brian has helped people reel in more 50-pound groupers (and larger!) than any other captain in the region. His uncanny and almost spiritual ability to always nd the sh, no matter the conditions, is what has given him his noteworthy moniker.
Capt. Brian promises his charter patrons a successful day of shing for red snapper (when in season), pink snapper, vermilion snapper, giant mangrove snapper, and mutton snappers. en there’s the family of grouper, which includes the gag grouper, red grouper, scamp grouper, rock hinds, and
snowy grouper. And one should never forget the monster amberjacks, cobia and pompanos. ese sh and more could be your next big catch in Palm Coast.
“Palm Coast and the Flagler Beach region is one of my favorite places to sh. Whether shing in the saltwater or freshwater canals, or on the open water, I always nd sh for my charter
patrons. We strive to make sure everyone ”
enjoys themselves and comes home feeling like a ‘lucky sherman.’ We look
forward to seeing you on the water soon.
