THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!
As a lifelong resident of Palm Coast, Bruce Garrison, has enjoyed the coastal life for 35 years. Bruce’s storybook life reads like the quintessential “home- town surfer boy makes good” as he built a successful career selling real estate in his beloved Palm Coast and Flagler County.
As a well-known Realtor in the city, Bruce spent the last 15 years welcoming new residents and business owners to “the best coastal city in Florida.” A graduate of Flagler-Palm Coast High School in 2000, Bruce never considered leaving his hometown because he simply couldn’t imagine nding a better place to live his dreams. Growing up sur ng the ‘killer’ waves on Flagler Beach, Bruce loves being close to the ocean so he can teach his son how to surf. When he’s not selling real estate, Bruce and his wife, Kelly, along with son, Tyler, and daughter, Taylor can be found boating on the canals or the Intracoastal Waterway, playing sports at one of the many city parks, or building sandcastles and playing Frisbee at the beach.
“I have always loved living in Palm Coast and cannot imagine living anywhere else! When I started raising my family I decided I wanted them to grow up just like I did. It’s the perfect small town and o ers everything you could possibly want. You’ve got the close proximity to the beach, the incredible water activities, hiking trails, the nature preserves, lots of shopping, dining, and arts and culture. ere’s really no place like it in Florida,” said Garrison.
Garrison has seen many changes over the years and he thinks the city has done a great job of managing the growth, while ensuring that the area has retained its friendly small-town ambiance.
“ e town has grown substantially since its days of two tra c lights and now boasts all the conve- niences of a big city, without the hassle. As one of the fastest growing cities in the state, we continue to see new stores, shops, businesses, and restaurants moving in every day. And what’s nice is the way that growth and nature live together seamlessly. It’s a real testimony to the commitment of our city
“
government to ensure we maintain our sustainability and quality of life,” Garrison said.

e Garrisons live in a custom home in Palm Coast Plantation, a spectacular, waterfront commu- nity developed by the principals of Sunbelt Land Management. He selected the community for its serene, tranquil setting with stunning views of the water, and its close proximity to the city’s hiking and biking trails.
Garrison credits his success in real estate to the friendly, welcoming nature of the Flagler/Palm Coast region, where the locals greet everyone
with a hello and people are easy to get to know. He acknowledges that he is not a “big city” person and has thrived in an environment where honesty, integrity, and your word are all you need to be e ective in business.
“Now that I’m a successful businessman, I could choose anywhere to live, but I prefer my life here in Palm Coast. When you look at the incredible value for what you get here – the charm of a small town only minutes to the beach, incredible weather, lots of parks, hiking and biking trails, championship golf and tennis facilities, low crime, great schools, and lots of activities for people of all ages, it’s an easy decision to put down roots and stay forever,” said Garrison.
