PROJECT DIRECTOR - KEN BELSHE
For almost 20 years, Ken Belshe has been an integral part of developing some of the Southeast’s most successful master-planned communities. As Project Director of Marina del Palma, and Broker- In-Charge for Florida Waterfront Marketing, LLC., Ken now leads the Sunbelt Land Management team to create this unique community in Palm Coast, one of Florida’s fastest-growing cities.
Over 15 years ago, Ken was part of the Sunbelt team that envisioned Marina del Palma. Regarding the project, Ken said, “I am so proud to have been here from the very beginning of this endeavor. I remember when we held the very rst meeting about the idea of a marina-type community almost 15 years ago. It was exciting then and is still one of the most incredible visions for a master-planned community I’ve ever been involved with.”
Ken joined the Sunbelt family of companies in 1999. Since that time, he has overseen several
large projects for the company including Marina del Palma’s neighboring community – Palm Coast
Plantation. In his current role, Ken is responsible for the day-to-day operations of sales and market-
ing for Marina del Palma, as well as the planning and design of several future Florida developments. However his favorite role will always be that of interacting with customers. “Nothing motivates me quite like dealing with our current, future and past owners, to ensure they receive world-class service from all aspects of our operation. I like to think of myself as the Chief O cer of Customer Acquisition.”
Although Ken plans to remain a Floridian forever, it wasn’t always that way. He will tell anyone who will listen that he is proud to have grown up on the plains of western Oklahoma. He later attended Oklahoma State University where he earned degrees in Economics and Accounting, as well as an MBA. Ken lives in St Augustine, with his wife Denise, and his two young children.
